Installation of full version supplied with Astro-Physics mounts

1. The PEMPro V2 installer should check for the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 but if not already installed you will need to install it. At the time of this writing you can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en
2. Install ASCOM 4.1 or later drivers. You can download from here: http://www.ascom-standards.org/downloads.html

Other Preparations Before Running PEMPro V2

• Confirm that one of the following is installed:
  1. MaximDL v3.22,
  2. MaximDL v4.50 (or later),
  3. CCDSoft V5.00.174 (or later),
  4. AstroArt V3/V4 (or later)
  5. Meade Autostar Suite (if you want to use a Meade DSI or LPI Series camera)
  6. Your webcam/video camera software (If you plan to run PEMPro's native video interface).
• Start on of the software applications above and connect to your camera to make sure the camera works by taking a quick snapshot image.
• If you plan to run PEMPro's native video application please start it first from the Windows Startup menu.
• Confirm that you can connect to your telescope with your planetarium program (e.g. TheSky or SkyMap Pro).

Entering the PEMPro V2 License Key

When you run PEMProV2 for the first time a dialog will pop up asking for you to enter your license key. The license key can be found on the CD case with the software that came with your Astro-Physics mount. You must enter the license key in order to use PEMPro.



Once the license key is entered, you can optionally register your copy of PEMPro V2 and get a free Standard License Key, which is the 5-line license key sent to paid commercial customers of PEMPro. The Standard License Key will allow you to do a fresh install on other computers with any build of PEMPro V2 instead of first having to install the version of PEMPro on the CD. You can still upgrade to the latest build even without a Standard License Key.

To get a Standard License Key enter your name and a valid e-mail address and click Get Standard Key. The request usually is handled within an hour but may take up to
one business day if the request is made on the weekend or a holiday. Once you receive the Standard License Key just click Enter Standard Key and copy and paste the license
key into the dialog that displays.
